1.0mm Locking Wire to Board Connector (A1007)
The A1007 is a 1.0 mm pitch wire-to-board connector with a built-in latch, produced in the same NH 1.0 compatible footprint as the standard series but with one difference that matters in moving equipment: the housing locks the mating header in place, so vibration and repeated handling cannot work the connection loose. It is an SMT connector molded from heat-resistant engineering plastic and is available in multiple positions. The latch gives a clear tactile click on insertion, which also simplifies operator verification during assembly.
A latch connector lives or dies by the precision of its lock geometry. Because we run our own injection molds and stamping dies, the latch dimensions are held to the same tolerances batch after batch - the click feel and the retention force stay consistent, and the risk of field failures from a loose lock is removed. When a customer needs a different position count or a modified latch, we confirm it on a prototype before the production tool is committed, which is the practical way to de-risk a locking design.
